William W. Krippaehne Jr.

Cushman & Wakefield Commerce today announced that William W. Krippaehne Jr. has joined the company as an executive director. He is adding his vast experience in commercial real estate to the Seattle team.

With more than 35 years of experience in senior strategic and operating roles, he gained success in fee and proprietary sales, leasing, development, and management of commercial and industrial real estate. Additionally, Krippaehne has amassed experience in land acquisition, planning, and entitlement, development, leasing, management, and financing of commercial-industrial-manufacturing properties.

Krippaehne launched his career with The Gilley Company in Portland, Oregon as an industrial sales and leasing broker, where he specialized in industrial build-to-suit transactions in the greater Portland metropolitan area. He soon opened and managed a Seattle branch of The Gilley Company, which was dedicated to full-service commercial real estate brokerage, management, and consulting. The Gilley Company was purchased by Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. and became one of 42 principals in the firm. In 1982, William joined Fisher Properties Inc. as President, CEO, and Director. In 2006, William established North Pacific Realty Advisors (NPRA) to provide senior strategic and management advice to North Pacific Realty Value Fund I LLC, formed to purchase a diverse portfolio of commercial real estate in the Puget Sound region of Washington State, as well as to other qualified investors. This fund has since been liquidated and NPRA has been discontinued.

Krippaehne earned a Masters of Business Administration, Finance and Marketing Management with honors from Oregon State University as well as a Bachelors of Arts, Political Science and Business with honors from Oregon State University.
