Toby Brown
SEATTLE, Wash. (May 12, 2016) – Perkins Coie announced today the addition of Toby Brown as Chief Practice Management Officer. In this new role, Toby will lead revenue management and efficiency programs, legal project management, pricing, process improvement, practice innovation, alternative staffing and new partner integration. Toby joins the firm from Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld L.L.P. where he was Chief Practice Officer.

Toby has held practice management and pricing-related roles for nine years at three Am Law 50 firms. Prior to joining Akin Gump in 2012 as Chief Practice Officer, he was Director of Pricing at Vinson & Elkins L.L.P., and prior to that was Director of Pricing and Strategy at Norton Rose Fulbright. Toby holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in economics and is the founder and creator of the annual P3 Conference, which brings together more than 400 pricing, project management and process improvement experts in the legal profession.
