Rich Barton, cofounder and executive chairman of Zillow, the Seattle-based online real estate database, will be the keynote speaker at Seattle Business magazines Tech Impact Awards event on September 25. Barton also created Expedia in 1994 while still at Microsoft and served as president and CEO until 2003. After cofounding Zillow in 2005 with Lloyd Frink, Barton was CEO until 2010, when he passed the reins to Spencer Rascoff. The Tech Impact Awards honor leading Washington technology companies as well as outstanding innovation and achievement in various industry sectors.
