Stephanie Perry

Stephanie Perry, director, Hospital Medicine Services at Virginia Mason has been honored by the Society of Hospital Medicine for excellence in practice management.

The national organization noted that among her achievements is building sustainability into the work of providers through the development of a robust onboarding process for new team members and the creation of a flexible scheduling method designed to improve work-life balance. She was also commended for her internal auditing and education platform that has improved revenue cycle opportunities for the teams she serves.

Perry manages four provider teams that include more than 80 physicians and advanced practice providers that exclusively care for patients in the hospital. A Senior Fellow in Hospital Medicine, she has been director of Hospital Medicine at Virginia Mason since 2016.

She received the Award for Excellence in Management in Hospital Medicine at the Society of Hospital Medicine’s national conference March 25 in Washington, D.C.
