Shannon English
Stantec has hired Shannon English as a senior electrical project manager in its US West buildings engineering practice. He will be responsible for managing multiple engineering designs and studies primarily for Pacific Northwest Department of Defense clients. He is working in the firm’s Lynnwood office.
English brings more than 29 years of electrical engineering and management experience for industrial, government, and municipal projects. A licensed professional electrical engineer in 11 states, his project experience covers the entire range of facility types and includes medium and low voltage power distribution, short circuit studies, overcurrent protection coordination studies, arc flash studies, power generation, indoor/outdoor lighting, communications, fire alarm, security, intercom/PA, grounding/lightning protection systems and sustainable design.

Currently, English is working at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island on the P-256 EA-18G Maintenance Hangar and support facilities project, and at Napa State Hospital on a study of the campus primary power distribution system for the California Department of State Hospitals. He is a member of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) and the Electric League.
