Seattle’s historic Fairmont Olympic Hotel is changing hands.

Los Angeles-based Trinity Investments has acquired the 450-room luxury hotel in downtown Seattle for an undisclosed price.

The 100-year-old hotel, which spans an entire city block, recently completed a $22 million renovation that included a new lobby, a new bar, and a reimagining of the famed Georgian Room restaurant.

The property features five dining options, 25,000 square feet of event space, street-level retail, and an array of amenities, including the 10,800 square-foot health club with an indoor heated pool. It also has 6,700 square feet of office space.

Trinity executives say they’ll pour more money into the hotel, including renovating guestrooms. “We are eager to build on the property’s legacy,” says Sean Hehir, Trinity’s managing partner, CEO, and president, adding that the company considers Seattle a “high-end market.”

The hotel is on the National Register of Historic Places.
