Melissa Peterson

Melissa Peterson, MSN, RN, has joined Virginia Mason as vice president for Patient Care Services, with responsibility for the departments of Medicine and Surgery.

Since 2016, she was vice president of clinical operations at the Wayne State University Physician Group, the largest multi-specialty physician practice group in southeast Michigan. The physician group is also affiliated with Wayne State University School of Medicine. She earned a Master of Science degree in Health Systems Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at the University of Michigan.
