Luigi Cardella
Dr. Cardella is a psychiatrist in Seattle specializing in brain stimulation therapies such as ECT and TMS, collaborative care psychiatry, the pharmacologic treatment of resistant mood disorders, and the treatment of comorbid psychiatric illnesses.
After completing his psychiatry residency and serving as Chief Resident at Washington University / Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Dr. Cardella joined the faculty at the Washington University School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry. He then completed fellowship training in Forensic Psychiatry at the University of California, Davis.
Dr. Cardella is a recognized teacher and has co-authored two book chapters in the Washington Manual of Outpatient Internal Medicine. He is also a member of American Psychiatric Association, Washington State Psychiatric Association and the American Academy of Psychiatry and the Law.
He graduated with a B.A. in psychology and a B.A. in biology with specialization in neuroscience from the University of Chicago. He attended medical school at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Medicine.
