Leah Silverthorn

SEATTLE – November 4, 2016 – Veris Law Group PLLC, a Seattle-based law firm, is pleased to announce that Leah Silverthorn has joined the firm as a new attorney.

Leah focuses her practice on complex environmental matters related to real estate transactions and litigation of environmental disputes. She regularly represents businesses, real estate owners, municipalities, and individuals on environmental matters, and defends her clients against claims asserted by state and federal agencies. Leah also evaluates and pursues insurance coverage for clients related to funding the investigation and cleanup of contaminated sites.

Before joining Veris Law Group and relocating to Seattle, Leah was an environmental and real estate attorney at Wooden & McLaughlin in Indianapolis, Indiana. Prior to being in private practice, Leah was in-house counsel for the Indiana Department of Environmental Management.
Leah received her J.D. from Indiana University McKinney School of Law (2007) and her B.S. in Public Affairs from Indiana University Bloomington (2004).
