As Zumobi’s new Vice President of East Coast Sales, John McCormick will be focused on Zumobi’s new “Microzine” mobile content marketing solution for brands. With mobile use growing 76 percent year-over-year, distributing content on mobile is key to a brand’s success in 2016.
With over 20 years of experience as a leading, results-driven executive at esteemed media brands including The New Yorker, Conde Nast Media Group, Fortune, Money, Sports Illustrated, and ESPN, John is a force in the advertising world, having increased revenue across both traditional and digital platforms, and supervised sales efforts across numerous properties.
Prior to joining Zumobi, John was Executive Director of Sales at The New Yorker, where he oversaw integrated sales across multiple categories and regions, growing 2015’s digital revenue by 93 percent year-over-year. He also added big name accounts including Samsung and Oppenheimer, along with selling multiple mobile sponsorships to MasterCard.
