James (Jim) Schneider, II

M&T Realty Capital Corporation® has announced the appointment of James (Jim) Schneider, II as a Senior Managing Director. He comes to M&T Realty Capital Corporation from Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), where he held a similar role in JLL’s Capital Markets division.

Prior to this appointment, Schneider worked at PGIM and Centennial Mortgage for sixteen years, closing more than $2 billion of HUD debt during his tenure, and was named a Senior Vice President of HUD Originations.

“M&T Bank is well known in the Pacific Northwest region for its construction lending program. HUD’s non-recourse loan programs offer longer loan terms, higher leverage, and lower interest rates than other permanent financing programs, and will be a great fit for customers with long-term asset strategies. Our team looks forward to being able to provide these execution options to M&T’s customers,” Schneider said.

Schneider holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Seattle University, and a Master’s of Business Administration from Loyola University Chicago. He is an active member of National Investment Center, American Seniors Housing Association, National Multi-Housing Council, Mortgage Bankers Association, NAIOP, and Urban Land Institute.
