Jack Butler
Jack Butler, PLS, has joined the design firm Stantec as survey manager in its Spokane, Washington, office. He has more than 30 years of diverse industry experience serving both public and private clients, including nearly 25 years spent in the Pacific Northwest.
Butler is an associate in the firm. His experience will expand Stantec’s regional and nationwide capabilities in the geospatial and geomatics group.
“Jack brings tremendous experience to our Spokane office and survey staff,” said Zane Shanklin, PE, Stantec principal. “It is a great opportunity to add a professional who has done such a wide variety of work. We are excited about what Jack adds to our U.S. West Stantec offices.”
His previous experience includes overseeing a staff of 23; serving on the Lake County, Oregon, Planning Commission; and authoring a number of articles for Professional Surveyor Magazine.
Butler is a member of the Society of American Military Engineers, National Society of Professional Surveyors, the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association and the American Wind Energy Association. He is licensed surveyor in multiple states, including Washington and Oregon.
