SILVER AWARD
Under the direction of J. Michael Marsh, Overlake Medical Center joined EvergreenHealth in Kirkland to form the Eastside Health Alliance/Eastside Health Network, with a mission to provide accessible, coordinated, high-quality care to Eastside residents at lower cost. In 2014, Overlake initiated its Journey to Zero Harm plan and has seen a 43 percent reduction in total harm events. The hospital is the only one in Washington to be ranked in the top
5 percent of hospitals in the nation for joint replacement and treatment of stroke by Healthgrades in 2018. It also was recognized by the Hospitals & Health Networks last year with a Most Wired award for its use of technology to improve patient experience and care.
