Denise Tait
Denise Tait is Comcast’s new director of human resources for the Washington region. Tait steps into to this role after serving in a key human resources position for Comcast at its division level.
As a regional director based out of the Comcast Washington headquarters in Lynnwood, Tait will lead human resource efforts for the state’s business, sales and marketing, external affairs and finance departments. In this role, she will ensure that employees have access to proper training and support systems, empowering them to maximize their talents.
“Denise has been a vital part of the Comcast family and has supported locations across the country. Her experience implementing and leading successful HR initiatives is a welcome addition to our team,” said Amy Lynch, regional vice president of Comcast’s Washington region.
Previously, Tait served as the director of human resources for the Comcast West Division Care Center of Excellence, which supports customers across the company’s 12-state western footprint. In this role, she provided strategic HR leadership for care centers of excellence in Lynnwood, Wash., and Fort Collins and Iliff, Colo. Her achievements include playing a key role in the successful stand-up of the Fort Collins Care Center of Excellence, as well as the successful launch of the Learning Nucleus program, an adaptable, self-directed learning and onboarding program used across the care organizations.
She has also served as manager of human resources for the Lynnwood Care Center of Excellence where she provided strategic HR leadership and coaching to site leaders and developed and implemented a variety of HR initiatives. Tait began her career at Comcast in 2003 as a senior human resources generalist at the Lynnwood location.
Tait serves as a Change Champion for Comcast’s West Division and has ensured successful implementation of change training for all supervisors and above.
Tait has earned the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification and is an active member in the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT). She is currently enrolled in the Denver Leadership Academy, a partnership with the Daniels College of Business at the University of Denver.
Tait lives in Snohomish with her husband, Larry, and their three kids. In her spare time, she enjoys participating in outdoor activities with her family, including hiking and camping.
