Chad Nickisch
Chad Nickisch was appointed Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager at the Peoples Bank Barkley Financial Center. Chad brings 18 years of experience in retail banking in Bellingham, with a focus on consumer and small business lending.
“Peoples Bank is a leader in Whatcom County for its customer service and relationship banking,” said Chad. “I am excited to demonstrate this leadership in my new role, and help our community succeed financially. The ultimate reward is seeing clients get into the home of their dreams with a payment they can afford, or helping business owners get started or expand their operations. The best compliment I can get is to have a client say, “Chad is my banker. He takes care of all my financial needs.’”
As a longtime Bellingham resident, Chad takes pride in being an active member of the community by volunteering as a board member for several local non-profits including the Mount Baker Kidney Center. “My parents taught me the importance of community, and the positive impact we can have by getting involved and caring for others,” said Chad. “I’m proud to work for an organization that shares these values.” Chad graduated from the University of Idaho with a degree in financial management.
