Beth Osborne

Beth Osborne has joined Symetra Life Insurance Company as director, Local Public Affairs. In this new role for the Bellevue-headquartered life insurer’s expanding Public Affairs group, Ms. Osborne will focus on local government relations as well as strategic engagement with business and community organizations.

Ms. Osborne brings extensive experience in community outreach, economic development and public policy to Symetra. Most recently deputy state director for outreach for U.S. Senator Patty Murray, she also has served as senior federal government relations manager for the Port of Seattle and deputy chief of staff for then-U.S. Representative Jay Inslee.

Ms. Osborne received a bachelor’s degree in communications from Boston College.
