FOCUS: Its pretty simple. What I do is inspire and lead great teams to create useful, enjoyable and meaningful experiences.

WHAT I WISH I CAME UP WITH: Post-it notes and the Sharpie. So simple. So many uses. Things I touch and use every day.

I ADMIRE: Those who create beauty and utility through simplicity. Individuals who can imagine and create something unique, turning a passion into product. Perfecting their craft, working to execute the details, persevering, bringing it to market, creating a following, and having customers use and enjoy it. Thats extremely difficult. There isnt one single person, but Im fortunate to work with people like this every day.

VACATION LOCATION: Mexico. Its part of us. We crave surf, sand, sun (and, of course, tequila). We go whenever we can. At home, its mostly on Lake Sammamish. We try to find moments, a few hours here and there, to vacation every week.

OUTSIDE MY WINDOW I SEE: My team. Lake Union in the background. The seaplanes taking off and landing on the water. I must be connected to the water. Its part of me.

HOW I WOULD BRAND SEATTLE: Software chic with a shot of espresso … and a few showers. Seattle is a vibrant city full of creative people who all contribute to a thriving community.
