Thrive Communities Names Andi Pratt as its Director of Business Development
Experienced Business Development Executive Joins Thrive Communities as Company Continues Seattle Expansion
Seattle, Wash. – July 27, 2017 – Award-winning property management firm Thrive Communities(www.thrivecommunities.com) (Thrive) today announced that experienced business development professional Andi Pratt has been named its Director of Business Development.
In her new role,Prattwill be responsible for leading business development efforts at Thrive, including defining the company’s competitive advantage further, supporting strategic business planning/initiatives and advancing the company’s culture.
“We’ve grown steadily over the past several years and now is the right time for us to bring on someone with Andi’s deep background in marketing, business and economic development,” said Thrive President Rose O’Dell. “With her real estate expertise and results-driven focus on strategy and planning, she’s the right person for us at the business development helm.”

As an 11-year industry veteran, Pratt most recently served as Marketing Manager at MG2, one of the largest architecture and design firms in Seattle, where she was responsible for developing, executing and implementing business development and marketing strategies.
She has also worked in the development industry in both Seattle and Washington D.C., and previously worked for the Downtown Seattle Association (DSA) where she oversaw their retail-based economic development program.
Additionally, Pratt serves on the ‘Promoters of Plymouth’ Committee at Plymouth Housing Group, a non-profit organization working to eliminate homelessness and stabilize homeless and very low income people in the Seattle area. She is also a member of the DSA’s Marketing & Communications Committee, the International Council of Shopping Center’s NextGen Committee and is a member of the developing leader’s group within the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP).
A native of Medford, Oregon, Pratt holds a Master of Science in Social Policy from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor’s of Art in Political Science from the University of Oregon, where she graduated summa cum laude.
She has also spoken at numerous conferences and events for industry organizations including Bisnow, the International Downtown Association, the American Planning Association, the Lean-In Circle, Washington Retail Association and the Downtown Residents Council.
