Alan Fulp

U.S. Bank Wealth Management, ranked among the top 20 U.S. wealth managers,* has announced that Alan Fulp has been named managing director of private banking for Ascent Private Capital Management of U.S. Bank in Seattle.

 

In his new role, Fulp provides design, development and delivery of strategies that meet clients’ complex wealth management needs, while providing expert and highly personalized service.

 

“Alan’s extensive experience of commercial banking will strengthen our client relationships in the Seattle community,” said Jan Hendrickson, regional managing director of Ascent in Seattle. “He is one of the most accomplished bankers in the Puget Sound market and will be very effective in helping our clients work toward realizing their goals.”

 

Fulp has more than 37 years of leadership experience in the financial services industry and joins Ascent from The Commerce Bank of Washington, where he served as senior relationship manager. Prior to that, he was president and chief operating officer for Core Business Bank, a start-up bank in the Bellevue market which was sold in 2013. He started his career in a small community bank in Fairbanks, Alaska before moving to the lower 48 where he’s worked as a commercial banker in the Seattle and Bellevue markets.

 

Fulp is a board member and past board chair for the Bellevue Downtown Association, a member and past president of the Rotary Club of Bellevue, a past board member and treasurer of the Mercer Island Schools Foundation, a volunteer for the YMCA and a past board member of Campfire Puget Sound. He received his bachelor’s degree from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon and graduated from the Pacific Coast Banking School.
