Adrienne Centano
Environmental Science Associates (ESA), a leading environmental science and planning firm with offices on the West and Gulf Coasts, has added Adrienne Centano as director of communications. Centano joins ESA’s corporate management team and builds on the firm’s recent and forthcoming prominent and strategic hires. In addition to Centano, in 2018 ESA has brought on several key senior-level staff to directly respond to client needs and growing industries. Earlier this year, Chris Easter joined the firm as director of Air Quality and Noise in Northern California and David Carlson also joined in Northern California as director of Transportation. ESA has also been building its in-house geospatial services team and now has a team of pilots certified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to fly drones, conducting real-time site monitoring and reconnaissance and collecting orthomosaic imagery and high-definition video for clients in all regions. With two decades of experience in the marketing and communications industry, Centano most recently served as marketing manager for award-winning adventure travel group Zegrahm Expeditions in Seattle and previously worked for a firm since-acquired by ESA. Her adept ability to develop and implement strategic marketing plans has proven instrumental in developing business. At ESA, Centano’s responsibilities include overseeing internal and external communications, launching new technology tools for the firm and sharing ESA’s work and vision across audiences. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America and earned her B.A. in Communications from the University of Washington.
