With Sounders FC back on the pitch, the energy has returned to CenturyLink Field. But behind the scenes at Sounders and Seahawks games, as well as when Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran are in the house, CenturyLink Field is decidedly low energy. The stadium complex, which also includes the CenturyLink Field Event Center and WaMu Theater, hosted 115 events last year and recently won honorable mention for sustainability practices in the 2017 WasteWise Awards program administered by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
