Seattle-Area shows second highest growth in job openings in the nation.

The Seattle-Tacoma area has had the second fastest growth in job openings with 76,230 jobs available, up 4.94 percent from the month before, according to Santa Clara-based Simply Hired. The fastest growing urban area was Pittsburgh with a 5.27 percent growth in job openings.
The data suggest that the U.S. economy is in a rebound after stalling in the first quarter. Job openings nationwide totaled 4.3 million, up 2.89 percent from the month before. Virtually every major urban area showed growth.
In the Seattle-Tacoma area, Amazon had the most postings followed by Providence Health & Services, Catholic Health Initiatives, Microsoft and Swedish Medical Center.
