Markefish now boasts $8 million in total financing, with the latest round coming from Rustic Canyon and Javelin Ventures.

The companys directory contains more than 200 million
e-mail addresses and allows clients to customize lists for purchase. For
example, a customer could develop a list of single, male dentists between the
ages of 30 and 50, living within 50 miles of Los Angeles. Depending on the
size, lists rent for between $10,000 and $35,000 each.

The company now has more than 275 customers and 12 employees. Founder and CEO of Marketfish Dave Scott worked previously as an executive at Entellium and Intermec Technologies.
