Data promises knowledge and, as CEO Lewis Carpenter explains, Winshuttle helps complete that promise. Its software bridges data managed by complex SAP tools to leaner, more familiar programs like Excel, where it can be explored and analyzed.
Most Fortune 500 companies use software from the German firm SAP to manage critical business areas, such as accounting, supply chain, human resources and manufacturing. Winshuttle empowers departments with a streamlined way to interact with SAP operations through common desktop programs or collaboration tools like Salesforce, instead of writing custom scripts for every chore.
The biggest challenge, Carpenter says, is getting companies to pause their struggles with their SAP systems long enough to hear how Winshuttles product can end them. A lot of people have had these problems for so long, they dont even know they have them, he notes.
Even so, 2,000 global customers have listened, and Carpenter sees no sign of the companys fast growth abating. As programs like Micorosft Office 365 move into the cloud, Winshuttle sees ample opportunity to continue providing easy and secure Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solutions.
