Shawn Jackson

Urban Renaissance Group (www.urbanrengroup.com) (URG) announced that it has promoted Shawn Jackson to Vice President/Regional General Manager of URG.

In his new role as URG’s Vice President/Regional General Manager, Jackson will draw upon more than 30 years’ of commercial real estate experience to oversee the expansion of URG’s leasing platform service among existing clients; provide broader operational support within the company; and focus on business development with an emphasis on URG’s leasing and operational capabilities.

Previously, he served as General Manager at URG, where he was responsible for a business unit including more than 1.2 million sq. ft. of office and retail space and leasing oversight for the business unit’s owned portfolio, which he will also continue to oversee in his new role. His current projects at URG include 1600 Seventh Ave., Plaza 600, Hill 7, Joshua Green, SeaTac Office Center and 2200 First.

Prior to joining URG, Jackson completed hundreds of real estate transactions valued at more than $100 million and held significant positions at some of the most prominent real estate firms in Seattle—including serving as former Director at the Hanover Company, Senior Director at Equity Office Properties Trust and Vice President at The Benaroya Company.

Jackson holds a B.S. in Business Marketing from the University of Idaho, as well as a Real Property Administrator (RPA) designation from the Building Owner Management Association (BOMA) International. As a BOMA Board member and past member of the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), Jackson has worked on several NAIOP award-winning deals and projects.
