After nine years on the fritz, the SEATTLE FRINGE FESTIVAL returns, featuring newsometimes just out of the ovenwork by established and emerging local actors. This scaled-down version of the festival still delivers five days packed with 21 performances, selected at random from a submission pool and spread out over five Capitol Hill venues (Annex Theatre, Northwest Film Forum and Odd Duck among them). All shows run between 30 and 60 minutes, and each performer or company is guaranteed four performances. 9/199/23. Times and venues vary. $10 per performance. seattlefringefestival.org.
