Nader Naini

Aegis Living, a national leader in assisted living and memory care, today announced that Nader Naini, Managing Partner of Frazier Healthcare Partners, has joined its Board of Managers.

The addition of Naini comes at a time of significant growth for Aegis Living. The company recently announced plans to double in size over the next 10 years. Aegis Living currently has 32 communities along the West Coast, with seven additional communities in development. While Washington state will continue to be a priority, Aegis Living anticipates much of its future growth to take place in California, where Aegis Living’s first community was built.

He joins fellow Aegis Living board members including founder and CEO Dwayne Clark as well as Jerry Meyer, Eddie Poplawski, Ashley Rea and Adam Clark.

“Nader has demonstrated extraordinary leadership and a novel approach to company growth and development through his decades of experience in the health care industry,” said Dwayne Clark. “As Aegis Living continues to grow at a rapid pace into 2020 and beyond, we’re thrilled to have him as a trusted advisor to our established board and talented senior management team.”

Naini’s deep experience in healthcare will also align with the company’s focus on delivering even more health and wellness services for its residents in years to come. Aegis Living envisions personalized medicine as a cornerstone to its future offerings and sees an opportunity for preventative health – including primary care, urgent care, mental health and more – to be integrated into its holistic team approach.

“I’m honored to be joining the board of Aegis Living, a truly forward-thinking organization on the frontlines of reshaping the senior assisted living experience for the next generation of older adults,” said Naini. “I look forward to working with the other esteemed board members and the Aegis team to continue innovating in this field while enriching the lives of its residents.”

Naini joined Frazier Healthcare Partners in 1991 and has served on the firm’s management team and led its Growth Buyout practice since 1995. Under his leadership, the practice has successfully raised more than $4 billion of limited partner capital and has realized more than $4 billion in exits.

During his 29-year tenure with the firm, he has been responsible for successful investments in such organizations as: Aspen Education Group; CHG Healthcare; Priority Solutions International; Bravo Health; Laboratory Supply Company; and DSI Renal.

Prior to joining Frazier, he worked at Goldman Sachs & Co. in New York. Naini received his M.B.A from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University and a B.A. in Molecular Biology from the University of Pennsylvania.

Naini also serves on the board of directors of United Digestive, Northfield Medical, MedData, Alteon Health and 98point6.
