Seattle Business magazine congratulates the finalists for its 2011 Washington Manufacturing Awards. It is to recognize and celebrate companies that are helping to maintain a vibrant manufacturing sector in Washington that we present awards each year in the following categories: Manufacturing Executive of the Year, Manufacturer of the Year, Innovator of the Year, Emerging Manufacturer and Nonprofit Manufacturer. Winners come from every corner of the state. You can read about last years winners here. This year, to recognize the substantial food processing sector in our state, we have added a Food Processing Award category.

The finalists were chosen by an expert panel of judges. They are Ron Benoit, partner, Moss Adams; Peter Haug, professor of manufacturing management, Western Washington University; Loren Lyon, CEO, Magic Wheels Inc.; Tom McLaughlin, executive director, Center for Advanced Manufacturing Puget Sound; John Vicklund, president, Impact Washington; Gary White, business retention and expansion, Tri-City Development Council, and Bill Virgin, editor and publisher, Washington Manufacturing Alert.
