Kevin Davison
Kevin Davison–entrepreneur, web developer, avid traveler–leaves behind San Francisco and his position at Hook 42, moving into a new role as Bear Group’s Sr. Technical Project Manager. Before acting as a Technical Project Manager and Drupal Architect at Hook 42, Davison spent two decades cutting his teeth on digital strategy services. A tenacious internet entrepreneur, Davison founded his first business in 1997. On his transition to Bear Group, Davison says he’s looking forward to working in a collaborative environment. “There’s a great mix of remote and in-person collaboration potential with Bear Group, and I’m looking forward to meeting new clients based in the Seattle area.” With a thorough understanding of both business and technology, Davison’s new role will call on his unique background to help clients find tech solutions as well as coordinate the efforts of Bear Group’s development team. Founded in 2007, Bear Group has become a significant player in the competitive technology environment of the Pacific northwest, working with notable clients such as Diamondback, Amazon, and Tableau, as well as businesses that have become Seattle institutions over the years, like Glazer’s Camera, Molly Moon’s, Seattle Chocolates, and Oiselle. “Bear Group appealed to me because of its clear values, choices in clients, and its careful diversity to work with Drupal and Magento while being very open to the array of technology integrations that we must be open and ready for on every project,” Davison said. “I’m excited about these new challenges, and to work with a remarkable team of experienced people. This role means a lot to me because it concentrates on what I believe I do best.” Davison holds a B.A. in Technical and Professional Writing with an emphasis in Instructional Technologies from San Francisco State University.
