Julie Jensen

Capital One is proud to announce that Amazon alumni Julie Jensen has joined its growing Seattle-based digital team as Vice President of Digital Design. Julie will focus her efforts on the intersection of digital innovation and investing tools, with the goal of helping to revolutionize the investing experience for both people and businesses.

In her previous role at Amazon, Julie was the Head of User Experience (UX) and Product for Amazon Registry Services. Prior to Amazon, she served as a Principal User Experience Manager with Microsoft, where she helped launch the company’s first cloud service, Office 365. She also worked as the Executive Director for customer experience at USAA, leading customer experience research and design.

Julie’s appointment directly aligns with Capital One’s commitment to tech innovation, data-driven solutions, and diverse thinking aimed at changing the way people engage with their money. Capital One is empowering their teams and the broader developer ecosystem with the cutting-edge technologies needed to innovate in an industry ripe for change. Julie is a passionate about customers and will work closely with product leadership teams to innovate outstanding end-to-end user experiences, particularly for holistic digital guidance, from awareness and trial to fulfillment and reassessment.
