Jeffrey Beaver Awarded the CRE Credential from The Counselors of Real Estate

Miller Nash Graham & Dunn partner Jeffrey Beaver has been awarded the CRE® (Counselor of Real Estate) credential by The Counselors of Real Estate®, an international group of high-profile real estate practitioners who provide expert advisory services to clients on complex real property and land-related matters. Members of The Counselors of Real Estate regularly provide objective and nuanced commentary on the issues and trends bearing on the commercial real estate business.

Membership in The Counselors of Real Estate is selective and is extended by invitation only, attesting to the practitioner’s expertise and proven competence in his or her chosen area of real estate. Members receive the CRE credential in recognition of proven superior problem-solving ability. Counselors are recognized in the marketplace as having consistently demonstrated the highest levels of knowledge, experience, integrity and judgment.

Beaver has extensive experience as a trial lawyer. He focuses his practice on condemnation, financial institutions and commercial litigation. Beaver has represented clients in a variety of industries, including transportation, timberlands, financial services and manufacturing. He has successfully tried numerous multimillion-dollar cases and has obtained favorable verdicts or settlements in some of our area’s largest eminent domain cases.

Beaver has been a leader in the legal community throughout his career. He currently serves on the United States Magistrate Judge Merit Selection Panel, the Washington State Bar Special Disciplinary Counsel and the Washington State Minority and Justice Commission. He also serves as a board member of Friends of the Children-Seattle, the Washington Leadership Institute and the University of Oregon School of Law Dean’s Advisory Council.

Beaver has been elected to the Fellows of the American Bar Foundation and has been recognized by the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, Inc. as both an Earl Warren Scholar and a recipient of the John Warren Davis Award. In addition, he has been selected for inclusion in Washington Super Lawyers since 2003. Beaver earned his bachelor’s degree at Morehouse College before receiving his law degree from the University of Oregon School of Law.
