Chinmayee Patil
Stantec hires Chinmayee Patil as a sustainable building analyst in its Seattle, WA, buildings performance group. She brings five years of project experience in energy conservation analysis, modeling, research, and documentation for buildings in a variety of markets.
As a sustainable building analyst, Patil will work with clients and designers to develop sustainability objectives, metrics, and frameworks appropriate to projects and identify design strategies to improve triple-bottom line performance. She will provide appropriate analysis and reporting support to project teams and stakeholders and facilitate the certification process for internal and external design teams, from schematic design through to occupancy/operation.
Patil is an active member of the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). She earned her master’s in architectural engineering degree from the University of Idaho in Boise, and a bachelor of science degree in electronics and engineering from University of Pune in Pune, India.
In December 2017, Patil completed her master’s thesis on indoor air quality and airflow studies in hospital patient rooms. Currently, Patil is working on the King County Children & Family Justice Center. A native of India, she currently resides in Seattle.
