West Seattle Food Bank’s Instruments of Change Dinner / Auction

 The West Seattle Food Bank will be hosting their 11th Annual Instruments of Change Dinner/Auction, attended by 250+ loyal business owners, community/civic leaders and donors.   We would be honored if you could participate by supporting our event. 

We realize that the year is filled with auctions benefiting worthwhile organizations – why support us?

• Over 9,300 individuals in this community relied on the WSFB 51,804 times throughout the year.
• WSFB distributes 1.66 million pounds of food with our new shopping style distribution and other programs & spent $260,000 on food purchases.
• Over 3,400 children and 1,500 seniors received assistance from the WSFB.
• Each week we set up an off-site distribution with our Mobile Food Bank in the lobbies of four locations that house many homebound elderly, disabled or other individuals that can’t make it to the food bank or we deliver a bag of groceries directly to their home.
• Each week we provide local schools with 300-400 “backpacks” weekly of healthy and kid-friendly food for those children at risk of hunger over the weekend through our Backpack Program.
• Our Pet Pantry distributes over 14,000 pounds of pet food and other accessories to families who need help taking care of their furry friends.
• Our Community Connections Program helps the families we serve access additional services and resources from dozens of partner organizations.                                                

  The money raised through Instruments of Change will allow us to provide quality, healthy food and the necessities of living to our neighbors in need through our successful on-going programs:  Baby & Child Corner; Backpack Program; Bookcase Program; Pet Pantry; Mobile Food Bank and Home Delivery Programs.
