Bringing and Retaining Foreign Talent in 2018 Seminar
Desh International and Business Law of Bellevue, Wash., invites businesses that use foreign workers to a complimentary lunch seminar – “Bringing and Retaining Foreign Talent in 2018” – on Oct. 26, 2017. The seminar will run from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Desh International and Business Law office, 11400 SE 8th St, Bellevue, 4th floor conference room.
Although the need for foreign talent continues to grow, the Trump administration has indicated that it plans to reduce employment-based immigration by as much as 50 percent. With these changes in policy, minimum qualification requirements, visa quotas, processing times, and filing fees likely will increase. Therefore, even as demand for workers increases, employers may find it more difficult to attract and retain new employees from outside the United States.
U.S. employers must strategically plan how to meet their immigration goals and adhere to their budgets and timeframe. At this seminar, attorney Olga Guzhva will outline strategies for employers to navigate this increasingly complex environment, plan for expansion, and protect themselves.
Lunch will be available at 11:45 a.m. with the seminar starting at noon. Attendees are encouraged to stay after the seminar to network. With seminar space limited, register for complimentary tickets in advance at Eventbrite. For more information, call 425-998-9453.
