Baran Erkel

Nintex announced the appointment of Baran Erkel as Vice President of Corporate Development.

Baran will be responsible for driving and coordinating Nintex’s strategic partnering and acquisition strategy, growing existing and new industry alliances, as well as expanding Nintex’s addressable markets to ensure sustained success for Nintex, its customers, and partners.

Erkel has more than 15 years of experience in strategy development, M&A, strategic investments, and partnerships with a focus on SaaS, mobile, collaboration, and productivity markets.  He joins Nintex from Citrix where he was director of corporate and business development for nearly four years and contributed to four-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 90 percent for its Document Cloud business. Prior to that, Erkel served as vice president of business development at ARDIC where he drove partnerships, fundraising, and M&A activity. He also spent nearly seven years at Accenture as manager, financial services advising executives of Fortune 100 companies on strategy, operations, and technology. Erkel holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and a Master of Science in Computer Networks both from North Carolina State University where he graduated Summa Cum Laude.
