Andrew Richards

Garvey Schubert Barer (GSB) today announced that Andrew Richards has joined the firm as an Owner. Based in the firm’s Seattle office, Richards brings his extensive fishery and maritime law experience to the firm’s Transportation and Logistics Practice and Maritime Companies and Fisheries Practice.

Richards has more than 9 years of experience representing clients in the commercial fishing and maritime industries. His experience encompasses commercial litigation and administrative appeals, defending agency enforcement actions and assisting with business transactional matters. He has appeared before courts in Washington, Oregon and Alaska, the National Appeals Office of the National Marine Fisheries Service and the Government Accountability Office. Richards has also served as outside general counsel to businesses, fishermen’s cooperatives, trade associations and non-profit organizations.
