Adnan Ahmed
Stantec is pleased to announce that Adnan Ahmed joined the firm as a project manager in its Information Communication Technology (ICT) consulting practice in the Lynnwood, WA office. Ahmed has more than 14 years of experience as an ICT infrastructure specialist. He brings Stantec experience from across North America and the Middle East.
Ahmed designs data and communications infrastructure for healthcare facilities, data centers, airports, commercial high-rise buildings and industrial projects. Among Ahmed’s notable past projects is the world’s largest forensic services and coroner’s complex in Toronto, Ontario; the Calgary Airport Terminal 3 expansion project in Calgary, Alberta; the first satellite station in the Middle East, Al Yah Satellite Station, Yahsat, Abu Dhabi, UAE; and the world’s largest waterfront mixed-use (commercial / residential) site, Jumeirah Beach Residence, Sector 2, 3, & 6, Dubai, UAE.
Ahmed is a professional member of Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI) and author of technical articles published in BICSI magazines. His professional certifications include Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) – BICSI; Registered Telecommunications Project Manager (RTPM) – BICSI; Wireless Design Specialist (WD) – BICSI; Cisco (CISCO Systems Inc.) Certified Network Professional (CCNP); Cisco Certified Design Associate (CCDA); Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA); and Convergence Technologies Professional – Telecommunications Industry Association (TIA). He is a member of the Canadian Green Building Council. Ahmed was nominated as one of the 25 most proficient RCDDs in the Middle East in Cabling Planner magazine.
