The Asian hospitality company in is now hiring for its new Lotte Hotel Seattle, which is set to open in June.
A South Korean hotel chain, Lotte Hotels & Resorts, plans to unveil its first hotel in Seattle ― and only its second in the United States ― and is now recruiting new employees in advance of the opening this June.
Lotte Hotel Seattle will feature 189 guest rooms spread over 16 floors and will be located in the 48-story F5 Tower at 801 5th Ave. in downtown Seattle. Tech company F5 Networks is leasing all 528,000 square feet of office space in the skyscraper, which earned a Skyline Award from Seattle Business magazine last year.
The South Korean hotel operator, founded in 1973, was the first private hotel brand in South Korea. It opened its first overseas hotel in Russia, Lotte Hotel Moscow, in 2010.
The hospitality company now operates some 30 hotels and resorts in major cities in seven countries, including in New York; Hanoi, Vietnam; and Yangon, Myanmar. Lott Hotels & Resorts is composed of several hotel brands, including SIGNIEL, the company’s premium hotel brand; L7, a lifestyle hotel; Lotte City Hotel, a hotel focused on business travelers; and the Lotte Resort for family travelers.
The Lotte Hotel Seattle is now hiring for all departments, including hotel operations, marketing and human resources, according to the company.
