Starbucks Corp. is by far the leader in online coffee sales, followed by Green Mountain, Nespresso, Folgers and Dunkin Donuts.

The market, however, is very competitive, according to a report by analytics company 1010Data. Seattle-based Starbucks accounts for only 11.6% of online coffee sales and doesnt even appear in the top 10 search terms.

Moreover, boutique and niche brands that have capitalized on the craft, artisanal movement pose a threat to top coffee brands, the report says, noting that High Brew Coffee grew online sales 147% the past year. Amazons private label, Solimo, has captured 1.3% of the online coffee market since it was introduced in April 2018.

The report says the online coffee category grew 23% the past year.
