When surfing the Internet isnt enough, you can now listen to a podcast produced by Expedia Group Inc. to help sift through travel choices and logistics.
The Bellevue-based company, which is moving its headquarters to a $900 million, 40-acre campus in Seattles Interbay neighborhood starting later this year, has launched a podcast, Out Travel The System, which the company says is designed to give travelers a sneak peek behind the curtain to arm them with insider tips, tricks and hacks.
The company says each episode will dive into a unique travel topic ranging from practical information –such as the best time to book a flight — to lighthearted content like choosing a travel companion based on their zodiac sign.
Our goal is to enrich the podcast universe with travel-centric information so that listeners can learn, get inspired by ideas and share their experiences with others, says Nisreene Atassi, PR director for Brand Expedia and the podcasts host.
Expedias move will bring 4,500 employees to the Interbay neighborhood. The company says travelers booked $99.7 billion via its platform in 2018, and revenue increased 12% to $11.2 billion.
