Bellevue-based Pocomaru designs and sells what CEO Heidi Yu calls physical apps for your gadgets. Yu, a native of Chengdu, China, received her MBA from the Albers School of Business and Economics at Seattle University and was a winner of that programs business plan competition in 2010. She launched her company last year to offer a diverse selection of fashionable cases and bags for Apple products. Cult of Mac predicted the firms Pocowool iClutch ($35) would be the hottest iPhone case for girls and women in 2013. Pictured here is a $45 iPad case that comes in wool and leather and is available in eight colors. Yu says shes looking for capital so Pocomaru can grow faster.
