Physio-Control Ownership Changes Hands

Bain Capital has completed its acquisition of Redmond-based Physio-Control from medical technology giant Medtronic. The purchase, announced in November, was valued at $487 million. Brian Webster, previously president of Physio-Control, was named CEO of the company. Physio-Control is best known for its defibrillators but also produces electrocardiogram machines and the LIFENET medical data information system.
