Jonathan Spencer
Pacific Market International (PMI), a leading global manufacturer of food and beverage container solutions, announced Jonathan Spencer has joined the company as Vice President, Global Finance, reporting to David Parker, CFO and COO. Spencer brings over 20 years’ experience in finance roles across the c-suite, operations and venture capital, and he will lead financial planning and analysis at PMI.
“Jonathan is a seasoned financial planning and analysis, operations, strategy and team-building executive” said Parker. “He is adept at driving growth and establishing new company milestones. His unique skills will help us meet our objectives as we continue to drive growth.”
Spencer comes to PMI from Conifer Specialties, a mid-market manufacturer in the packaged foods space, where he was CFO. At Conifer, he managed finance and operations and led the integration of a new contract manufacturing operation that drove over 15 percent growth in incremental sales and revenue diversification. Spencer also partnered with Conifer’s CEO on all aspects of securing new business, from deal evaluation to contract negotiation and Board approval. Additionally, he managed all banking relationships and successfully navigated the company through its first full financial audit and an SAP implementation.
“Joining PMI is a wonderful opportunity, especially given its lengthy history, immediate brand recognition and unparalleled customer loyalty,” said Spencer. “The company has such a well-established history, unique brands and tremendous potential.”
Prior to working at Conifer Specialties, Spencer worked in various financial leadership roles, including nearly a decade as a leader in the Financial Planning and Analysis group at Getty Images.
Spencer received a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Virginia.
