PACIFIC PLACE PROMOTES ELENA AROSTEGUY TO GENERAL MANAGER

Experienced property manager to lead operations, redevelopment efforts in advance of highly anticipated grand opening slated for late 2019

SEATTLE – June 3, 2019 –Madison Marquette, a premier national real estate development, leasing and management firm specializing in infill, mixed-use, community and specialty retail properties in the United States, announces the promotion of Elena Arosteguy to general manager at Pacific Place, downtown Seattle’s premier destination for shopping dining and entertainment.  With experience spanning more than two decades, Arosteguy brings a wealth of expertise in property management, operations and retail to her new position.

A highly experienced property manager, Arosteguy first joined Pacific Place in December 2014 as director of operations. In this position, she played an integral role in the center’s strategic operations. As general manager, Arosteguy will direct and oversee all aspects of the property – from tenants and customers to staffing and marketing – with a significant focus on the multi-million-dollar redevelopment project that’s been underway since May 2018, slated for completion later this year.

“We are thrilled to announce Elena’s promotion to the Pacific Place leadership team. Her vision for strategic planning, analytical reasoning and management will be a powerful force as we look towards this exciting new chapter,” said Daniel Meyers, senior vice president, project management at Madison Marquette, the center’s management company. “I am confident that Elena’s skill set will continue to help us build upon Pacific Place’s dynamic redevelopment and tenant strategy, while supporting our growth into the future.”

Prior to joining Madison Marquette, Arosteguy worked as a manager at Urban Renaissance Group, Cushman & Wakefield, General Growth Properties at Westlake Center and Trammel Crow Company. She is a member and former board member of CREW Seattle & Sound, associate member of International Council of Shopping Centers and a member at Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA). Arosteguy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Southern Oregon University (formerly Southern Oregon State College).

“I feel incredibly fortunate to join Pacific Place’s leadership team at this time of tremendous opportunity and growth,” said Arosteguy. “I look forward to leading the team through the last phases of our redevelopment and building upon our legacy. We are so proud of this project and look forward to showcasing the look and feel of the space to our employees, tenants and customers very soon.”

Momentum on the Pacific Place redevelopment continues to track to a late 2019 grand opening. Meanwhile more than 30 best-in-class shops, restaurants and AMC Pacific Place 11 are open for business as the management team at Madison Marquette creates new spaces for retailers, restaurants and experiences. New tenant announcements, and the opening of the new grand entrance at 7th Ave and Olive Way are anticipated this summer. The shopping center will also continue its active pop-up store program that showcases art, new retail brands and experiences which reflect the future of Pacific Place.   The center’s current retailers include Barneys New York, Tiffany & Co., Kate Spade New York, Din Tai Fung and many others. And coming late fall the new restaurant Hai Di Lao Hot Pot will open at Pacific Place.
