Derrick Borgmann

Borgmann comes to Seattle from Braganza Tea Co. where he held the position of Regional Director of Stores. Before that he spent over six years as Regional Manager at Kroger. Borgmann’s expertise includes HR/operations, talent acquisition, process/policy development, strategic planning and cultural development.

Borgmann is excited to bring a fresh perspective on how Sound Credit Union attracts and retains top talent. He has a passion for understanding what makes the work place a positive environment for employees and recognizes it should be treated as a team’s second home. Borgmann’s vision for Sound is to bolster its reputation as a best-in-class credit union and PNW employer, and to develop a consistent, transparent culture of employee engagement across the organization.
