Ryan Zilker

Zilker brings more than 24 years of experience in credit union and marketing roles. His credit union experience included a wide array of positions such as branch and call center, lending, operations, and market research. In his most recent role, Zilker spent three years as the head of marketing for Western Growers, a trade association representing fresh fruit, vegetable, and nut farmers.

Joining the Sound team was appealing to Zilker because of the new, powerful brand, strong leadership, solid financials and historical growth, and the opportunity to join a committed group of professionals working towards a common goal of inclusion and financial empowerment. Zilker’s vision for his role at Sound is to build off of the brand’s strength with a focus on positioning Sound Credit Union as a community partner and advocate. He hopes to expand the Sound footprint to include even more potential members and to further expand the credit union’s position as a trusted partner within the communities it serves.
