Joseph Nussbaum

Stoel Rives LLP  is pleased to announce that Joseph Nussbaum became a new partner of the firm effective Jan. 1, 2019. Nussbaum, a member of the firm’s project finance group and renewable energy industry team, focuses his practice especially on the U.S. solar industry. He helps project sponsors and investors evaluate, structure and execute on secured loans, tax equity financings, purchase and sale transactions, joint ventures and other commercial transactions through all stages in an energy project’s lifecycle.

 Nussbaum also has worked for many years in the leveraged finance arena on secured and unsecured commercial lending, mezzanine loans, syndicated credit facilities and private placements in the natural resources, power, and shipping sectors, including cross-border project financings. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Yale University and a law degree from Fordham University School of Law.
