Emilie Jones

Emilie Jones, manager, Virginia Mason Outpatient Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, was named 2017 Physical Therapist of the Year by the Physical Therapy Association of Washington.

Nominated by her peers, she was recognized for her many contributions to the profession, including her leadership as legislative committee chair with ongoing efforts in defining physical therapist scope of practice. Her leadership was critical in Washington becoming the 10th state to approve the Physical Therapy Licensure Compact legislation, which will allow shared licensure across state lines.
