Peter Bentley Joins Washington Trust Bank as Western Washington Private Banking Team Leader

 

SEATTLE – (June 2, 2016)— Washington Trust Bank has hired Peter Bentley as senior vice president and Western Washington private banking team leader in the Seattle office.

 

Bentley rejoins Washington Trust after working for Union Bank in Seattle and Los Angeles. Previously, Bentley served as senior vice president for Washington Trust from 2004 to 2010, and the Washington Trust team is elated to have Bentley back to lead the private banking team in the region. Bentley brings a strong credit background, a deep understanding of the market, and a successful track record for hiring and retaining top talent. With over 30 years of banking experience, he will be an asset in continued growth for Washington Trust across the Puget Sound.

 

Bentley earned his MBA from Penn State University and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Southern California.
