Teri Marsh
Teri Marsh, PE, returned to HNTB Corporation’s Bellevue office as project manager for rail and transit projects. In her new role, Marsh will lead transit design teams on various projects and manage the firm’s on-call value engineering, risk assessment and constructability review contract for Sound Transit. Marsh comes to Bellevue from HNTB’s Los Angeles office, where she worked as a rail and transit project engineer. Prior to that, she spent more than three years working with HNTB in Seattle, where she also worked as a rail and transit project engineer.
“Teri brings over 10 years of experience in design, project management and construction management of light rail and streetcar projects,” said Kevin Collins, PE, HNTB Seattle office leader and vice president. “Along with her engineering expertise, Teri’s dedication to leadership, inclusion, and mentoring will make her an asset to our clients and our community. We are thrilled to welcome her back to the Puget Sound region.”
In Los Angeles, Marsh served as HNTB’s deputy project manager and civil design lead for LA Metro’s Metro Orange Line Improvements Project. She also worked as the deputy project manager on the Riverside Downtown Station Expansion project, a project slated to add two service tracks and a new platform to the existing station in downtown Riverside, California. Her previous projects with Sound Transit included work on the Lynnwood Link, East Link, and Angle Lake Link light rail extensions.
Marsh earned a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. She has served in multiple capacities on the boards of the Puget Sound and Los Angeles chapters of Women’s Transportation Seminar and is a 2016 graduate of the American Public Transportation Association’s Emerging Leaders Program. In 2017, she co-founded the Bellevue chapter of HNTB’s mentoring program, now in its fourth year.
